I was so excited to hear that my fabulous niece, Katy, has chosen to become vegetarian! Good for her! I'm so excited when I hear of young people making this decision, because it takes a good bit of courage and questioning to do it, and it's a choice that really opens your mind to questioning other parts of our culture of consumption. thanks for the support! personally, my favorite vegetarian (he's actually vegan) is Casey Affleck! that is so cool about the UN. that's probably the only good thing about the whole energy crisis, that it's forcing us to reevaluate things like meat consumption. and i'm always impressed when someone can take all of that information and compress it into one article that still make some kind of sense! by the way, your blog was definetely one of the reasons we decided to make ours, because you make it look so easy!
