Not much to report

I don't have any funny stories from today. It rained. All day. The kids did go into their creche, but they didn't get outside to play because of the unending rain. The result of this was two wild, cranky, stubborn children who you have to chase to get into the bathtub and who really, really don't want to go to bed.

They are asleep now. Daithí took the night off work because I was nearing meltdown, so now we're going to sit down with a glass of wine and some chocolate.

Is this the kind of day I'll laugh about in 20 years?

Hey, enjoyed Skyping today. Was great to see the Hulkmeister and the Siofster as well, though they did seem to be suffering from a touch of cabin fever. We were on the other extreme to you guys today in terms of weather. In the late 30s which meant that I didn't leave the house till well past 7pm. My poor Irish constitution couldn't take the heat - I was just one big hot mess! Germany is not a country that believes in air-conditioning for some reason. Anyways, the clouds are moving in and we are due a storm tonight. Temperatures will be back to normal tomorrow and might even get some rain. Thank God! Hope the chocolate and wine did the trick, K
