Hyper for Hyperlinks!

I love hyperlinks.

Here are some recommendations from me:

If you haven't seen this, please please rent it tonight and watch it.

If you haven't been listening to this, check it out now, 'cause you'll love it, I promise.

If you haven't read this, or read about it, you should. Whether or not you agree with it, it's worth thinking about.

If you're having a baby, thinking of having a baby or just interested in these things...read this. And then read this!!

Ok, that's enough opinionated ranting from me now.

Breastfeeding is the bomb-diggity. Luna and I still get our share of snuggles but I must admit that we both miss nursing sometimes. She nursed until 23 months. We might have gone longer but work kept me away for a few days at a time so it seemed like a natural time to wean. What an amazing power we have as women! I wouldn't trade it for the world. Yes, I, too, am becoming a pretty hardcore "lactivist". Go Bridgie!!!
(and stay off of those websites with dumb moms who make you mad)

O.k. so I guess I'm the loser who stopped the boob at 7 months with my kids. Just kidding. :) I really do think of myself as a "lactivist," even though I didn't nurse for a really long time. My decision was more involving my emotional and physical state at the time. I needed to have "my body back" for my own mental health. That might sound selfish but at least it's honest. Even still, I nursed longer than almost anyone I know and am always encouraging my first time mom friends to go for it and conquer all issues!

Any bit of boob is better than none! Even one day of breastfeeding is a success.

Anyone who can confirm or deny that Sufjan Stevens is the son of Cat Stevens will win the 4 oz. of frozen breastmilk I have in the freezer.

Ditto about the boob factor... 7 months or more than most... keep up the good mommying, Sarah...
